Lake Villa School Bus Carrying Three Kids Involved In Rollover Accident
A school bus carrying three kids rolled over on Grand Avenue in Lake Villa Wednesday afternoon, according to the Lake Villa School District superintendent.

There were no reported injuries, but the four were taken to a nearby hospital for precautionary reasons.

Lindenhurst Police Cmdr. Tony Fikejs said the 16-seat Durham school bus, serving the Lake Villa district, rolled onto its side while traveling westbound on Grand Avenue west of Munn Road near the Lindenhurst-Lake Villa border.
The school bus driver had finished her route and was traveling with three of her own children onboard the bus. The accident occured at about 3:08 p.m., and the children's injuris do not appear to be serious. The cause of the accident seems to be a mechanichal issue with the bus, but the accident is still under investigation.
