Joshua E. Spudich, 23, charged with DUI following head-on crash that killed Susan Gorecki, 65, in St. Charles, Illinois

About 2:05 p.m., Susan Gorecki was traveling southbound on North 2nd Street at Timbers Trail when Joshua E. Spudich, 23, was driving northbound and drifted across the center median and struck Gorecki’s car head-on, according to a St. Charles police statement. Gorecki, of St. Charles, was taken to Delnor Hospital in Geneva where she later died. Spudich was charged with four counts of aggravated DUI and one count each of possession of a controlled substance, DUI drugs, driving while license is revoked and improper lane usage, according to police.
