Chicago Woman Killed In West Suburban CarCrash

(STMW) — A Chicago woman was killed her car was struck by a semi truck Wednesday afternoon in west suburban Stickney. The Toyota spun into the southbound lane and its’ passenger side was struck by a Ford Contour, Jaczak said. A passenger in the Toyota, a 54-year-old woman, was taken to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, where she died. The drivers of the semi and the Contour refused medical attention, Jaczak said. The driver, a 53-year-old man, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood with non-life-threatening injuries, he said.

Chicago woman killed in west suburban car crash

The Toyota passenger Leticia Alonso, 54, was taken to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, where she was pronounced dead at 1:15 p.m., according to Jaczak and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. She lived in the 3300 block of West Columbus Drive in Chicago.
