53- and 28-year-old men injured in car crash on 206th North crossing Route 84 in Cordova, Illinois

A 54-year-old man from Erie was traveling east bound on 206th North crossing route 84 when he was hit by a southbound 2006 Pontiac driven by a 28-year-old man from Fulton. After the collision, the truck hit a telephone box and became stuck on the train tracks. The driver of the pickup truck was cited for failure to yield at an intersection and failure to reduce speed. Both men were taken to the hospital for treatment to injuries.
