A car was going northbound on Griswold Avenue when police say the driver disregarded a stop sign. It was then hit by a pickup truck traveling eastbound on West LeFevre Road.
One dead, two injured in Whiteside County crash
State Police investigators said that a 2001 Nissan Maxima, driven by Michael L. Mulberry, 38, of Rock Falls, was northbound on Griswold Avenue.
Mulberry ran the stop sign at the intersection of West LeFevre Road, police said.
