One Dead, One Injured in Head-On Collision in Lee County

Lee County Deputies say on Saturday afternoon on Illinois Route 2 near Grand Detour Road, Zachery Brokaw was heading south when he crossed the center line, hitting an SUV head-on. Brokaw had already died when responders got to the scene. A juvenile passenger was flown to Rockford Memorial Hospital.
