Police say the car driven by Trina Harrell went off the road shortly after 6 p.m. Central time Friday, overturned and landed on its roof and landed in waist deep water in a retention pond.

State police state a 42-year-old Hammond woman is dead after the car she was driving rolled over on an Interstate 80 off-ramp in her hometown. Police say the car driven by Trina Harrell left the road shortly after 6 p.m. Central time Friday, overturned and landed on its roof and landed in waist deep water in a retention pond. She was pronounced at Munster Community Hospital.
