Princess Carter, 2, and Prince Carter, 7 months, killed, two people injured in collision with alleged fleeing driver Fredrick McFarland, 26, in Evansville, Indiana
A police pursuit in southwestern Indiana that ended when a fleeing motorist crashed into another car, fatally injuring two children, began when officers tried to stop the man because his car had false plates, police said Thursday.
Prince and Princess Carter’s deaths were ruled homicides, Coroner Steve Lockyear said. Both children died in a car crash in Evansville after a police chase ended with the suspect crashing into the PT Cruiser carrying the children and their parents.
According to Osborne Funeral Home, visitation for 2-year-old Princess Carter and 7-month-old Prince Carter will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 at Memorial Baptist Church in Evansville.
