Burch is the wife of Mitchell Burch, pastor of Towne Boulevard Church of God in Middletown. The couple have been married for 36 years, according to Clark Helvey, pastor of outreach and missions at Berachah Church in Middletown.

Mother, daughter killed in collision with semi

A mother and daughter died in a crash involving a semi Wednesday in Huntington, according to the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department.

Mom, daughter killed in auto accident

A semi pulling a trailer, driven by Franklin G. Diamond, 43, of Lancaster, Ohio, was westbound on Indiana 224 at Markle when the car pulled into its path, police said. Diamond was not injured.
The wife of a Middletown pastor and her mother died in a collision Wednesday morning in Indiana. Rochelle Burch, 54, and Linda Dykstra, 77, died from blunt force trauma. the crash happened when Burch allegedly ran a stop sign on U.S 224 near I-69 just after 11 a.m. and her car was struck by a semi truck. Dykstra was deceased at the crash site, and Burch was treated by first responders for about 30 minutes before being declaring deceased. The semi driver was not injured. Authorities have ruled the deaths accidental.
