Police: Two dead after crash on I-69 in Allen County

Police said two people are dead after a crash that shut down a section of the Interstate 69 at the Allen County- Huntington County line on Sunday. According to the Allen County Sheriff’s Department, around 5:45 a.m. officers responded to the crash on I-69 at the 293 mile marker, which is just south of the I-469 interchange in Roanoke.

The sheriff’s department said a male driver and female passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. The Allen County Coroner will release the names of the victims, along with details about their death, at a later time.

Bryant, the driver, and Agado, the passenger, were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi suffered a minor injury.
