Hengst’s death, which has been ruled an accident by the Allen County Coroner, is the third traffic fatality for Allen County in 2015.

A pedestrian was killed after she was struck by a car Sunday evening at Leesburg and Flaugh Roads. Odie Mae Hengst, 69, was transported to the hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and has not been charged with any violations.
