A police chase that began in Boone County ended in a multiple-vehicle crash on Indianapolis’ Westside early Saturday morning.

About 3 a.m., Whitestown police officers said the chase began when they tried to pull over a vehicle in the southbound lanes of Interstate 65.
Police tried to stop a Chevy Tahoe in Boone County when the suspect took off at high speed. Officers pursued the vehicle across the Marion County line until the Tahoe crashed into two other vehicles at 34th Street and Georgetown Road. Fortunately no one in either vehicle was hurt.
