Two-car crash sends three to hospital

The drivers and Facemyer's passenger, 21-year-old Christopher Propes of Brookston, were all taken to area hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.

Samantha Facemyer, along with a passenger was heading south on State Road 43 on Tuesday evening when her car collided with Charles Notary's car which was heading east on 800 North. Deputies who responded to the scene stated that Notary failed to stop at the stop sign and that alcohol might be a factor in the accident. Notary, Facemyer and her passenger suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital. A utility pole was also knocked over by the collision.
