Jackson County Coroner Roger Wheeler says 65-year-old Delbert Kinsey, had a history of heart issues and issues related to an insulin dependency.
Police said a Columbus man was found dead in his truck after driving into a fence on State Road 11 in Jackson County on Tuesday. Delbert Kinsey, 65, was headed northbound on SR 11, just east of I-65, when his truck hit a fence and a sign on the south side of the road. Officers found Kinsey inside the car around 12:30 p.m. slumped over the steering wheel. Officers said Kinsey’s tuck was still running and in drive when they found him.
