4 vehicle crash on US 50 leaves 2 dead, 1 injured

SEYMOUR, Ind. (WHAS11) '€“ A Crothersville man and a North Vernon woman are dead after a four-vehicle crash on US 50 east of Seymour. The accident took place around 4:37 p.m. on June 19, Indiana State Police Trooper Seth Davidson responded to a personal injury crash on US 50. An investigation revealed that a red '97 Chevy driven by 27-year-old Chelsea Bolwing hit the back of an '07 Ford which was driven by 65-year-old Larry Jacobs. Reconstruction and crash clean-up resulted in US 50 being closed down for almost three hours. Authorities are unsure if drugs or alcohol played a part in the crash as toxicology reports are still pending.

Newlyweds killed in car accident

A Crothersville couple, married just two months ago, died in a four-vehicle wreck that left U.S. 50 east of Seymour closed for nearly three hours Friday evening.
