Driver facing charges after bicyclist hit, killed

 Brian Schrock of Millersburg also faces a pending charge of reckless homicide. According to the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched just after 8 p.m. to the area near 6800 W CR 200 S after getting a report that a bicyclist had been hit by a vehicle. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Leland Lambright of Emma. He was pronounced dead a short time later. 

80-year-old bicyclist dies in rural Indiana crash

Police say a suspected drunken driver was using a cellphone when he struck and killed an 80-year-old man riding a bicycle on a northern Indiana county road.
Authorities believe that Schrock was using his cell phone at the time of the crash and that alcohol was a factor.
