67-year-old Goshen woman dies after crash at C.R. 9 and C.R. 38 Wednesday morning

A Goshen woman died after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of C.R. 9 and C.R. 38 Wednesday morning. Jean M. Masterton, 67, died at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday, according to Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa, which submitted an obituary to The Elkhart Truth. At about 7:30 a.m., Masterton was traveling north on C.R. 9 and failed to stop at the intersection of C.R. 9 and C.R. 38, according to a news release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department. A 45-year-old Osceola man was driving east on C.R. 38 and collided with the driver’s side of Masterton’s car at the intersection.
