The Daviess County sheriff’s office says in a statement that a vehicle was heading southbound about 6:30 p.m. Thursday at an intersection and failed to yield the right of way to a westbound vehicle.

According to police, for an unknown reason, Grimes failed to yield to the right away and pulled into the path of a pickup truck being driven by 41-year-old Rodney Page, from Plainville, Indiana.
