Two killed, one injured in Tama County crash

Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.
Two men were killed and another injured in a collision on Highway 30 Wednesday, when a pickup truck driven by Dwight Conway, 62, heading south on V18, failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a semi traveling east on Highway 30. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch. Conway and his passenger Phillip Core, 56,were pronounced deceased at the crash site. The semi driver, Jeff Schniederman, 50, was taken to Covenant hospital with unspecified injuries.
