Police: 1 killed in 2-vehicle crash in Cedar Falls
Cedar Falls Police say in a news release that the crash was reported around 12:05 a.m. Saturday at the 1st Ave. bridge near Main St. Investigators say both vehicles were traveling west when the crash occurred.

Charles Brooks, 46, of Champlin, Minn., was the car's driver and received minor injuries. Iowa State Patrol says he tried to jump off the bridge after the crash.
