Two Die After Interstate Crash Near I-80 Construction Zone
Two people were killed after a four vehicle crash near a construction zone on Interstate 80, west of the I-80 bridge near LeClaire. The crash, reported at 3:18 p.m. on May 9th, 2016, involved a van, an SUV, a car, and a pick-up truck traveling west on the highway.

According to a news release, at about 3:18 p.m., a Chevrolet Express van rear-ended a Buick Century sedan in traffic stopped near a construction zone. Two people in the Buick were killed. Their names were not being released Monday night.
The driver of the van, Christopher Roger, 27, was taken to Genesis Medical Center-East Rusholme Street, Davenport, for non-life threatening injuries.

The Quinns were in the car. The van owner was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries. He was cited for failing to stop within a safe distance.
