Crews Battling House Fire in Nevada

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire which they believe may be suspicious, Nevada Public Safety Director Ricardo Martinez told Channel 13.

A man is accused of setting two houses on fire on 4th Street and F Street, which fortunately had no one in them at the time. After commiting arson, the suspect backed his car up to the front doors of a Good and Quick convenience store then slammed on the gas, causing the car to blast backwards into the store and nearly strike two people. The man then sped away at speeds of up to 80 mph. Deputies deployed stop sticks but the suspect avoided them and was able to escape into neighboring Hamilton County. The suspect's ex-girlfriend reportedly works at the store he drove the car into.

Authorities have identified the suspect as Matt Henrich.
