Muxfeldt and her son were thrown onto the pavement. Muxfeldt was taken by LifeNet to Creighton where she was pronounced dead.
Wade was taken by Logan Rescue to Missouri Valley Hospital, then by LifeNet to Nebraska Medicine for his non-life-threatening injuries.
