A man has been arrested after two passengers in a vehicle he was driving died during a car accident in Leavenworth County.

ne officer said it is possible their pickup truck was going 80 miles per hour when it veered off the road and crashed into a tree. A third relative was at the wheel at the time of the crash, and according to a Leavenworth County Sheriff’s spokesman, walked away from the crash and has bonded out of jail.
A 20-year-old driver was arrested and faces charges connected to the fatal crash. 29-year-old Jesse Aldrich and 34-year-old Justin Wilson were pronounced deceased at the crash site after the vehicle they were riding in collided with a tree Sunday morning off of Country Road 1 near the Kansas River Bridge.
