One dead in Highway 75 crash

Burdick was as student of Jackson Heights High School. The crash happened at the turn off to Jackson Heights High School.

It happened at the intersection that leads right up to the high school. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a semi crashed into the car she was driving.

Funeral services to be held Thursday for teen killed in crash

According to her obituary, funeral services for Afton Alaine Burdick will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday February 23, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.  Burial will follow in the Circleville Cemetery.  Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
