Stolen vehicle crashes after car chase in Downtown

A man is in custody after a stolen vehicle was crashed in Downtown Topeka Friday. Shawnee County Dispatch received a call at about 5:15 p.m. Friday of a suspicious vehicle driving through the alley of the 1100 block of N.W. Jackson. The vehicle turned out to be stolen. “He’s in custody,” the dispatcher said.
