Brooke Rees, 29, killed in multi-vehicle crash on I-70 in Topeka, Kansas

A Manhattan woman has been identified as the victim in a 7-car crash that closed multiple lanes of I-70 in downtown Topeka Wednesday afternoon, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

A 29-year-old Kansas woman was killed when large metal pipes fell from a semitrailer, causing a crash involving seven vehicles. 

A GoFundMe.com page has been set up and to help the family with funeral and memorial costs.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Brooke’s GoFundMe account that will be used to establish a memorial fund in memory of Brooke’s beautiful life.
