Stillwater, Okla. man killed in N. Butler County crash
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by 59-year-old James Edward Birch, of Stillwater, was traveling south on U-77 when, for an unknown reason, Birch lost control of the vehicle and the Crown Victoria entered the west gravel shoulder. Birch then over-corrected the vehicle and the Crown Victoria entered the northbound lane of the highway before colliding with a 2007 Chevy Impala, driven by a 68-year-old McPherson woman.
