2 killed in Sunday crash near Ellsworth

According to the patrol, a 2013 Dodge Durango pickup truck was traveling southwest on K-156 when it collided with a 2009 Chevrolet Impala that was northbound on K-14. The patrol said the Impala had stopped at a stop sign, then was proceeding through the intersection when it collided with the Durango while it was trying to make an evasive maneuver to avoid being hit.
Two people were killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in Ellsworth County. Two passengers in the Durango died in the crash. William A. Rabas, 64, and Delores L. Rabas, 56, both of Russell, were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
