Shortly before 11:00 a.m., a man identified as Alejandro Contreras-Villa,25, was driving a pickup truck east on Kansas 254 and smashed through the railing on the bridge going over North Hillside Street. His truck landed upside-down and was crushed, trapping him inside. After a few hours emergency crews finally freed him, but he was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
