The driver of the Captiva has been identified as Scott Raines, 30, of Independence. The driver of the Cobalt has been identified as Allison Crossley, 21, of Fairfield.
Scott Rains, 33, was indicted for murder, assault, criminal mischief and driving under the influence. The charges stem from the March 9 crash on Turkeyfoot Road that killed Marianne Gerl of Erlanger.
One person is dead following a head-on crash on Turkeyfoot Road in Crestview Hills. The northbound lanes of Turkeyfoot Road between Dudley Road and College Park Drive were shut down as of 8 a.m. Monday. A Chevrolet Captiva headed south on Turkeyfoot Road near College Park Drive crossed the center line for unknown reasons, striking a Chevrolet Cobalt before slamming head-on into a Hyundai.One person, identified as Marianne Gerl, was pronounced dead at the scene.Two injured people were taken to U.C.
