According to officials, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. this morning, while the woman was standing in the dog park. She was taken to St. Elizabeth-Fort Thomas. Her injuries are not life-threatening, but are severe, including several broken bones.
A woman was hit by a falling tree at the Highland Dog Park on Mayfield Avenue in Northern Kentucky. The incident occured around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, October 14. The woman was transported to St. Elizabeth-Fort Thomas hospital to treat injuries that were not life-threatening, and her dog is in the care of animal control. The identity of the woman and her condition have not yet been released.
