One dead and several injured after single vehicle crash on Pennyrile Parkway
Detours were established at Nortonville and Crofton while police investigated the accident.

A single-vehicle fatal collision occurred on the Pennyrile Parkway when a 2004 Lincoln Aviator, driven by Alyssa Wagner, 22, of Jasper, was traveling north at 11:45 Sunday when the vehicle exited the left hand shoulder and crashed into an overpass support column. Wagner was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Passengers of the vehicle included Lauren Cessan, 22, of Ogden, IL, Kristen Hostetter, 23, of Bloomfield, IN, Jennah Banks, 23, of Rockport, IN, Jarod Daming, 24, of Newburgh, IN, and Malcolm Webb, 23, of Rockport, IN. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
