The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office has released new information about a deadly accident on Highway 813.
Kentucky Man Dies in Car Accident
The Hopkins County Coroner pronounced Plunkett dead on scene. Authorities say Bell was taken to Baptist Health for minor injuries.

Earnest Plunkett was driving on Highway 813 when he pulled in front of a car. The car's driver, Jackie Bell, didn't have enough time to react and hit Plunkett's car. Plunkett was pronounced dead at the scene. Highway 813 was closed for about three hours following the accident so that Authorities could investigate.
