Robert Perkins, 34, of Louisville, died of head injuries after his car collided with a power pole and then a nearby building at the intersection of Outer Loop and Afterglow Drive, near 3rd Street Road in Louisville, Kentucky. Live wires near the collision prevented immediate rescue of Perkins and his passenger. The passenger was removed and transported to University of Louisville Hospital with unknown injuries.
