Police: Drunk driver arrested after injuring several in downtown crash

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Several people are hospitalized and a drunk driver is facing a series of charges after a downtown accident early Saturday morning. Three people in the Blazer were transported to University Hospital suffering serious physical injuries with two of them being life threatening. The passenger in Johnson's vehicle also suffered serious physical injuries. Officers could not find proof of insurance for Johnson's vehicle. He's facing charges including four counts of assault and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
