Spencer County Magistrate's son Jackson Bayers, 18 months, dead after car accidentally runs him over at Plum Creek Road in Taylorsville, KY

It is uncertain exactly how the accident happened, but Spencer County Magistrate Brian Bayers was bringing his car up to his house at about 8:45am when he went inside to check on his 18-month-old son, Jackson. After going back outside, Bayers saw that he had somehow ran over Jackson with his car, completely unaware that he had until that moment. The death has been ruled an accident.
