Three-vehicle wreck in McCracken County sends two to hospital

A wreck involving a tractor-trailer sent two to a hospital and blocked U.S. 60 near County Line Road in McCracken County Monday morning. The Kentucky State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement and the West McCracken Fire Department assisted at the scene. Sheriff's deputies say a tractor-trailer driven by 25-year-old Joshua Howell of Clarksville, Tennessee, rear-ended a SUV driven by 33-year-old Jeffrey Heffner of Paducah. Deputies say Farmer's vehicle spun, and was also hit by the semi. Deputies say Farmer and a passenger — 20-year-old Andrew Corley of West Paducah — were taken to a hospital by Mercy Regional EMS. U.S. 60 was blocked or restricted to one lane for about 45 minutes.
