Tristen Robinson, 16, and Ava Crockett, 15, killed in two-vehicle collision on Louisiana 133 in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana

A preliminary investigation revealed a 2005 Mazda 6 driven by Tristen Robinson, 16, of Columbia was traveling south on 133 when, for reasons that remain under investigation, the car ran off the right side of the road. 

The Mazda then reentered the road, drove across both lanes of travel and was struck in the passenger side door by a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Jose Vargas, 39, of Portland, Arkansas.
