Car crash Saturday night claims life of St. Rose man, 20

State Troopers obtained a blood sample from Lymous at the scene, police said, and toxicology results are pending. The wreck remains under investigation, police said, and criminal charges are pending.
A single-vehicle accident in St. Charles Parish killed 20-year-old Charles Green Jr., a St. Rose man, Saturday night.  Green was ejected from a car his friend, 19-year-old Christopher Lymous, also of St. Rose, on La. 626 near mile post 1. They were driving south on La. 626 when Lymous entered the northbound lane momentarily before veering back into the southbound lane and losing control of the car which then left the road, entered a ditch, hit several trees before flipping. Green was ejected and killed instantly. Police said driver impairment is not considered a factor in the crash, but said the car was speeding and that no occupants were wearing seat-belts.
