Dale Neilson Jr., 44, and Gene Fanguy, 55, killed and 19-year-old woman injured in head-on car accident on LA 56 in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana

A head-on crash in Terrebonne Parish on Saturday resulted in two fatalities and a female passenger with moderate injuries. Dale Neilson Jr., 44, from Houma, was driving a Chevrolet G10 Van south on LA 56 when he crossed over the center line and crashed head-on with Gene Fanguy, 55, of Chauvin, in the northbound lane shortly before 9:30 p.m. Both men were pronounced deceased at the crash site. A 19-year-old female passenger in Fanguy's truck suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the Terrebonne General Medical Center.
