Authorities received a call for help around 8:50 a.m. An unknown type of boat had sunk in the area of the Southwest Pass, near Port Eads, Domingue said.

Missing Baton Rouge man thrown from boat in accident identified as influential pastor

The missing man, identified as Donald Tabb, is a very influential member of the faith-based community in Baton Rouge. Tabb helped start the widely popular Chapel on the Campus at LSU and also is one of the founders of what would become the Dunham School in Baton Rouge.
