One dead, two injured in Milford crash

Police say the car hit a telephone pole on the 800 block of County Road, rolled over multiple times, and lit on fire.

The call came in around 1 AM Wednesday morning. When police arrived, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames.

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office say 29-year-old Samuel Ketch of Milford was a passenger in the car, too. Authorities say a man from Greenbush was killed early Wednesday morning when the truck he was riding in rolled over and caught fire. If you have any information, you can contact the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office at 947-4585. Their truck went off the County Road about 1 a.m., breaking a utility pole. They say there was also an interaction between the three men and a group of other people at the Milford On The Run convenience store just minutes before the crash.

Bail set for Maine man charged with killing brother in crash

Nicholas Spencer has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated OUI for the Feb. 24 crash that killed 28-year-old Matthew Spencer.
