A 60-year-old woman died Sunday in a multi-car accident on Route 2 near Sunday River Road. Officials with the Oxford County Sheriff's Department said the three-car crash happened around 1:30 p.m. They said the woman was killed on impact.

The identity of the woman killed in a multi-car accident on Route 2 in Bethel on Sunday was released by the Oxford County Sheriff's Department on Monday.

A reconstruction team has been on the scene trying to figure out what happened, said deputies. Aside from the woman who was killed, two other people involved were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
