Police said 26-year-old Cailin Currivan of Rumford was taking a walk when she was hit by a pickup truck. An ambulance took her to Rumford Community Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police said the truck was driven by 22-year-old Kyle Kennedy of Livermore Falls. Police arrested him on a charge of operating under the influence, and the Oxford County District Attorney will review the case to decide if any other charges are warranted.
