Woman killed, 2 others seriously injured after wrong-way crash on MD 32 in Baltimore, Maryland

A car driving the wrong direction on a southern Howard County road resulted in a crash that killed one and badly injured two others early Saturday morning, police said. A woman in an Acura was driving westbound in the eastbound lanes of MD 32 at around 4:15 a.m. when she struck a tow truck head-on, Howard County police said. The crash took place near the intersection of Dorsey Run Road in the Annapolis Junction area. The driver, who had not yet been publicly identified as authorities notify her relatives, was killed, while her passenger was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in critical condition, police said. The 28-year-old tow truck driver was also taken to Shock Trauma in serious condition. The crash is under investigation, and MD 32 was closed for about three hours after the incident
