Authorities released an image of a vehicle the believe is similar to the one involved in the hit-and-run. The vehicle may also have damage to the front, driver-side.
Police recover car involved in fatal hit-and-run in Essex
County police said Thursday that the Crash Investigation Team recovered a purple 2012 Hyundai Sonata on Wednesday that was found in the 900 block of Sun Circle Way in Essex. Police said a resident reported it as a suspicious vehicle.
