Barnshaw’s mother, Miriam Barnshaw, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, Brian Barnshaw was driving on 1-295 when he lost control and skidded into the northbound lanes. LINTHICUM, Md. (WJZ) — A woman is dead after an accident on I-295. The eighteen passengers on the bus were not injured. He was taken to Shock Trauma; his condition is not known.

Car Skids into Bus, Passenger Killed, Driver Injured

All eighteen passengers aboard the commuter bus were safely off loaded onto another commuter bus from the same company and transported to their destination. Police said Miriam Barnshaw, 65, of Centreville, Maryland was killed when the car, in which she was a passenger, skidded into the path of a commuter bus on the Baltimore/Washington Parkway near Baltimore. There were no reported injuries from those passengers traveling aboard the commuter bus. The commuter bus was transporting 18 passengers. Maryland State Police continue to investigate a fatal crash Sunday morning in Anne Arundel County that claimed the life of a woman from Queen Anne’s County.
