Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide After Crash InAdamstown

Hallyburton has been charged with homicide by motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, among other charges. He'€™s been released on bond. 

Man dies in alcohol related crash in Adamstown

A man died Friday after a car crash involving alcohol in Adamstown, according to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office. Police say Hallyburton is being charged with manslaughter by vehicle, homicide by motor vehicle impaired by alcohol, homicide by vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and two counts of causing life threatening injury while under the influence of alcohol. Cole Abernat Hallyburton, 20, of Frederick, Md. was the driver of the truck and police say he was arrested at the scene. The remaining passengers in the truck were transported to a local hospital, according to police. There were three occupants in the Madza and police say they were also transported to a local hospital.

The collision happened on Friday evening when 20-year-old Cole Hallyburton ran a stop sign and crashed into a sedan.The truck rolled multiple times, and two passengers were ejected. Luke Bartlett, 20, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Another passenger was airlifted to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. A total of seven people sustained injured.
