Car Hits Trash Truck Head-On; 1 Dead, 3 Injured
Shortly before 5 a.m. a garbage truck was heading south in the 11300 block of Edmonston Road near Baltimore Pike when the driver of a Chevrolet Impala left its lane and struck the truck head-on, police said.

One adult is dead and three people are fighting for their lives after an Impala struck a trash truck on Edmonston Road in Beltsville, Maryland around 4:45 a.m. Monday.

Around 5 a.m. a garbage truck was heading south in the 11300 block of Edmonston Road near Baltimore Pike when the driver of a Chevrolet Impala left their lane and collided with the truck head-on. The driver of the Impala was pronounced dead at the site. The driver of the garbage truck and two passengers in the Impala sustained life-threatening injuries while two more passengers in the Impala have less serious injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
